I love game development and have developed several games in my spare
time (whatever that is).
Texas Holdem (
zip)
This game was developed as a collaboration between Glen Cox (University
of Wyoming) and Richard Palochak (University of Wyoming). The
goal was to develop a Texas Hold'em trainer that taught not only how to
win at Texas Hold'em but at the same time learn something about
probabilities and statistics. The final product was entered
in the Hidden Agenda Contest of '04 and we were in the top five
finishers.
Miner 8009'er (
zip)
Miner8009'er was developed by me for the Hidden Agenda Contest of '05.
I wasn't a finalist, but it was enjoyable building everything
on this game from scratch. The 3D engine design was based on
Stefan Zerbst's book
3D
Game Engine Programming.
